Subtractive and Additive Methods.
So far, progress with blue foam has been fruitless in achieving the effect I desire.
As such, I've decided to deviate from the original plan and give an additive method a go.
Subtractive = Blue Foam
* Since I'm shaving away parts of it at a time from a solid block
Additive = Clay/Plaster
* Since I'm slapping on parts at a time from a solid block
I anticipate the Additive method will result in more control due to the additional time I have compared to the Blue Foam. This is because the hot wire cutter needs to cut through the foam at a steady rate to achieve a smooth finish and also the risk of melting too much foam due to the heat.
